Refine Surgery is not a healthcare provider, we connect you with licensed plastic surgeons and specialist clinics in Istanbul, and we do it through a selection process we are transparent about. On this page you will find the surgeons we work with, the requirements we place on clinics, how certifications and accreditations work in Turkey, and what you should ask before booking.
Every surgeon we refer to holds specialist training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, maxillofacial surgery or hair transplantation, depending on the field. They work at hospitals and clinics approved by the Turkish Ministry of Health and experienced with international patients, with interpreters, VIP transfer and structured follow-up.
The medical assessment is always made by the surgeon and the clinic. We never give medical advice, never promise a specific result and can never guarantee that a treatment is suitable for you. That is determined at the on-site consultation, after examination and review of your medical history.

Specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery
At Refine Surgery we work with Op. Dr. Ibrahim Rahimli, a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery with extensive experience in both facial and body surgery.
Dr. Rahimli received his medical degree from the Azerbaijan Medical University in Baku and then completed his specialist training in plastic surgery at Fırat University Hospital in Turkey.
Over the years he has performed a large number of aesthetic procedures and is appreciated for his precision, his aesthetic eye and his focus on natural, harmonious results. His aim is to enhance each patient's unique beauty with the highest possible safety and quality.

Specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery
Op. Dr. Zeki Yasar is an Istanbul-based specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with over 20 years in medicine and specialist qualification since 2011.
He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and completed his specialist training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine between 2006 and 2011.
His career includes public hospital service from 2011 to 2017 and specialist roles at Medical Park Hospital (2017) and Memorial Hospital (2017-2019). Since 2019 he has run his own private specialist practice in Istanbul.
He is an author and co-author of peer-reviewed international publications in plastic, reconstructive and craniofacial surgery, and takes part in national and international courses and congresses covering rhinoplasty, aesthetic plastic surgery, wound care and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Yasar's practice is guided by scientific assessment, individualised surgical planning and natural, harmonious results. Specialist in otolaryngology (ENT) and head and neck surgery, focused on rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic surgery
Op. Dr. Berkay Çaytemel is an Istanbul based specialist in otolaryngology (ENT) and head and neck surgery, with a particular focus on rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic surgery. He trained at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and completed rhinology training at Stanford University.
Born in Ankara in 1991, he earned his medical degree at Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Medicine, followed by compulsory service in the emergency department of Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital in 2015 and 2016.
Between 2016 and 2021 he completed his residency in ENT and head and neck surgery at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, one of Turkey's most established faculties, which he entered with a top national specialisation exam ranking. In 2019 he completed rhinology training at Stanford University in the USA.
From 2021 to 2023 he worked as a specialist surgeon at Osmaniye Kadirli State Hospital and then at Sultan Abdülhamid Han Training and Research Hospital, performing numerous nose and facial procedures as well as revision rhinoplasty. Today he runs his own practice in Kadıköy, Istanbul, for Turkish and international patients.
He has eight peer reviewed scientific publications and a book chapter, and regularly attends congresses and courses in nasal and facial aesthetics.

Every clinic we work with is registered and approved by the Republic of Turkey's Ministry of Health (T.C. Sağlık Bakanlığı) for the procedures they perform. The approval covers facilities, equipment, hygiene routines and staff qualifications.
The surgeons are registered physicians with a specialist title in their field and members of the Turkish Medical Association. We request and verify specialist credentials before starting a collaboration.
All procedures under general anaesthesia are performed at full-scale hospitals or surgical centres with a licensed anaesthesiologist, monitoring equipment and intensive care capability, never in a clinic without such readiness.
Some of our partner hospitals hold international accreditation such as JCI or ISO 9001. We always state the actual status of your specific clinic, we never claim an accreditation a clinic does not hold.
Breast implants, dental materials and other products are CE-marked and supplied with serial numbers and warranty documents that you take home with you.
You receive the surgical report, material passport and aftercare instructions. Follow-up is handled digitally with the clinic, with Refine Surgery as your Swedish-speaking point of contact.
Results
We only show photos where the patient has explicitly consented, and we do not retouch them. Photos are shown as part of your personal review together with the clinic, since results are always individual and depend on anatomy, healing and starting point.
