About the treatment
A breast lift, also called mastopexy, changes breast shape and position by removing excess skin and reshaping tissue.
Implants can add volume at the same time. The lift and implants serve different purposes. The suitable combination depends on your skin, existing tissue and preferences.
If additional volume is your main goal, augmentation may be an option.
If breast position and excess skin are your concerns, a lift without implants may be considered. A combination is not right for everyone. The surgeon assesses the options and explains the limitations. A particular appearance cannot be guaranteed.
